Adding data to a kon boot cd (or any other [undersized] boot cd)
Many of the people couldn't get Raymond's tutorial on how to install kon boot on a USB flash drive to work(just see the comments). I don't know anything about that but the reason that people are willing to use kon boot on USB flash drive seems to be that the utility is just too small to be worth burning to a cd.
So I thought why can't I just use that cd like any other data CD and fill up the rest with backups or whatever. Here is how to do it:
1. Download kon boot cd image file.
2. Download Ultra Iso(!shareware!)
3. Open the iso in ultra iso
4. Add as many file as you want.
5. Save the file
6. Burn using Nero(or any other) but REMEMBER to finalize the session.
I don't know whether this works with any other iso editing software. I found ultra iso to be particularly useful 'cause it leaves all boot info untouched(on the iso that is). So eventhough you will see nothing when you open the kon boot iso(no files) but kon boot data remains after you save the iso.
This trick also works on all other boot media image like Acronis True Image Rescue Discs
Tested on Parallels Workstation.
NOTE: For those who want to try this out but do not want to spend any bucks, try googling "UltraISO 9.3.3 Multilingual"
